Global Mind Tests — Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Global Mind Tests website and all related tests, leaderboards, accounts, and Pro features. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Global Mind Tests.
1. Basic information about the service
Global Mind Tests is an online platform that offers simple cognitive tests (for example, reaction time, memory, attention tasks) for entertainment and educational purposes. The service is operated by a private individual and is not a medical or clinical tool.
The tests do not provide medical diagnosis and must not be used as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice.
2. Eligibility and acceptable use
- You may use the site as a guest or by creating an account, where available.
- You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with other users or the operation of the service.
- You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, databases, or other users' data.
- You agree not to reverse engineer, copy, or systematically scrape the tests or code without permission.
3. Leaderboards and nicknames
Some tests may include public or semi-public leaderboards where users can submit scores under a nickname.
- Nicknames must not be offensive, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
- We reserve the right to remove any nickname or score that violates these rules at our sole discretion.
- Users who repeatedly choose offensive nicknames or harass others may have their accounts and scores removed or blocked.
4. Anti-cheat rules and automated tools
To keep the leaderboards fair and meaningful, the following are strictly prohibited:
- Using bots, scripts, macros, auto-clickers, or other automated tools to complete tests or artificially improve scores.
- Modifying the test code or browser environment to gain an unfair advantage.
- Submitting fake scores or manipulating network requests to write arbitrary results to the leaderboard.
We reserve the right to automatically or manually analyse game patterns, response times, and technical data to detect suspicious activity. Accounts and devices suspected of cheating may be:
- removed from leaderboards,
- blocked from submitting new scores,
- permanently banned from using certain features or the entire service.
5. Accounts and security
- Where account creation is available, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorised access, you should change your password and contact us.
- We may disable or delete accounts that are inactive for a long time, violate these Terms, or are associated with abuse or fraud.
6. Pro features and payments
Global Mind Tests may offer "Pro" or other paid features (for example, extended statistics, additional tests, or advanced options). The following applies:
- Payments are processed by Stripe or similar payment providers; we do not store full card data.
- By purchasing Pro access, you enter into a simple digital service contract for the selected plan.
- Pricing, duration of access, and included features are presented clearly before purchase.
- We may change the pricing or content of Pro plans in the future; such changes will not affect access that has already been purchased for a fixed period, but may apply to renewals or new purchases.
- Where refunds are possible, they are handled according to applicable consumer law and our refund practices (for example, where the service has not yet been used or in case of technical issues on our side).
7. Advertising and third-party services
The site may display ads, including via Google AdSense or similar advertising networks. Ads are typically marked as such and may be personalised based on cookies and your consent settings (see our Privacy Policy for details).
We are not responsible for the content or availability of external websites and offers advertised on Global Mind Tests. Any interactions with third-party sites, services, or purchases are solely between you and those third parties.
8. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the tests, branding, design, text, and code on Global Mind Tests are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
- You may use the tests for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the tests or substantial parts of the site without prior written permission.
- Fair, limited quoting or linking to the site is allowed, provided proper attribution to Global Mind Tests is included.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any guarantees regarding availability, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose.
In particular:
- The tests are not medical or psychological diagnostic tools.
- We do not guarantee that test scores are perfectly accurate or scientifically validated.
- We are not liable for decisions you make based on test results or site content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the site, including loss of data, profits, or reputation.
10. Suspension and termination
We reserve the right to:
- modify or discontinue any part of the site or tests at any time,
- temporarily suspend access for maintenance or security reasons,
- block or remove accounts, devices, or IP addresses that violate these Terms, attempt to cheat, or otherwise abuse the service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page and is marked with an updated date. Material changes may be announced on the site or by email where appropriate.
By continuing to use Global Mind Tests after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
