GMT Points are your long-term progress score on Global Mind Tests. You earn points by completing most tests, and your total increases over time. Some tests are excluded from GMT Points, such as the Typing test and Hearing test.
How GMT Points work
You earn GMT Points by completing tests. Each test has a daily limit of 100 points per day. Points build your total, which determines your position in the global ranking. Badges earned in tests and your current GMT rank build your badges score, which unlocks profile customization.
Daily limit: 100 GMT Points per test
The daily limit prevents point farming and keeps the ranking fair. It also encourages playing different tests instead of repeating one test endlessly.
After reaching the limit, you can still play the test, but no additional GMT Points are awarded until the next day.
Badges & customization
Badges are earned directly in individual tests by achieving strong results. Each badge grants badge points, which unlock profile customization options.
These customization options affect how your name appears in the ranking. For example, unlocking:
• name colors
• frames around your name
• animated highlights
• additional visual indicators
How badges score works
Your badges score is the total used to unlock profile customization in the ranking. It comes from two sources: your earned test badges and your current GMT rank.
Badge points: Bronze = 1, Silver = 2, Gold = 3, Emerald = 4, Amethyst = 5.
Rank points: your current GMT rank also adds points, starting at 1 point for Bronze I and increasing step by step up to 15 points for Amethyst III.
These values are added together into one badges score. Higher score unlocks more profile customization options in the leaderboard.
At the moment, 10 badges score unlocks nickname color, and 20 badges score unlocks row animation.
Global ranking
Your position in the global ranking is based on your total GMT Points. The more points you earn, the higher you climb.
The ranking rewards consistent activity across different tests rather than repeating a single task.
Customization unlocked through badges changes how your name appears in the ranking, but does not affect your position.
