About Global Mind Tests

Global Mind Tests is an independent browser-based project focused on short, practical cognitive tests. The site brings together tasks for reaction time, memory, attention, visual search, inhibition, working memory and cognitive flexibility in one simple place.

What we are building

The goal of Global Mind Tests is to make cognitive tasks easy to try, repeat and track over time. Each test is designed to be quick enough for regular use while still giving clear feedback about speed, accuracy, consistency or attention control.

The tests are inspired by well-known task types used in cognitive science, such as reaction time tasks, Stroop-style interference tasks, Flanker tasks, N-back memory tasks and visual search exercises. They are adapted for practical online use, not for clinical diagnosis.

How the tests should be used

These tests are intended for education, self-tracking, training and curiosity. A single score should be treated as a snapshot, not as a final judgment of ability. Results can change because of sleep, stress, caffeine, fatigue, device latency, screen refresh rate and practice effects.

For the most useful insight, repeat the same test under similar conditions and compare your trend over time. Global Mind Tests should not be used as a medical, psychological or clinical assessment, and it does not replace advice from a qualified professional.

What matters to us

Privacy and data

Many test results are stored locally in your browser. Some optional features, such as GMT Points, badges, ranking and feedback, may use limited Firebase data so that progress and leaderboard features can work across sessions.

You can read more on the Privacy Policy page.

Who the site is for

Global Mind Tests is for students, gamers, drivers, professionals and anyone interested in reaction speed, focus, memory and cognitive performance. The tests can be used as a quick focus warm-up, a personal benchmark, or a way to observe how daily factors affect your scores.

Feedback and improvements

The site is still being improved. New tests, better scoring explanations, mobile layout fixes, badges, trends and ranking features are added over time. If something is confusing, broken or worth improving, feedback is welcome.

Global Mind Tests is for educational and self-tracking purposes only. It is not a diagnostic tool and should not be used as a replacement for professional medical or psychological evaluation.
